blockchn.com… ll'be supporting the btc $$$ node (bch) chn and reserves the rite to not recognise the bch abc fork if thris insufficient adoption of the new chn.
as a precaution, we will halt all sends, deposits and withdrawals of bch on nov 14th til the network appears stable. additionally, upon resuming transaction support, we may increase the № of network confirmations required for deposits to process.
trading within the xchange and trading wallet ll'be halted. swap, deposits and withdrawals tween the xchange na trading wallet will experience temporary delays.
wha’ is a fork and why is it happening?
crp networks rely on pticipants reaching consensus onna network rules. when a large enough group of network pticipants do not agree w'da current set of rules, they can decide to create their own network by ‘forking’. inna case of btc $$$, the btc $$$ node na btc $$$ abc communities disagree on wha’ the future rules of the network ‘d be. ⊢, a split s'been scheduled by ‘forking’ the chn.
so wha’ does this mean for me as a blockchn.com… usr?
we don’t recommend taking any action. yr funds are safe, we will just be temporarily halting the active transferring and trading o'em for a lil while.
however, since blockchn.com… is unlikely to support bch abc, if you’d like to ensure access to the bch abc chn after the fork, please withdraw any bch from the platform by 16:00 utc on nov the 14th. + information can be found here.
we remain committed to protecting our customers through network changes.
